While passing on a wide receiver isn’t the end of the world, Ya-Sin’s value isn’t in the top-40 picks. I don’t believe he has a very high ceiling, or would bring anything to the roster that isn’t already on it. Pass, for me.Dane Brugler- The AthleticNo. 36 - A.J. Brown, WR, Ole MissBrown will be interesting. He primarily played in the slot, and might take a little time if used differently in the NFL. Brown is a terror after the catch and one of the better route runners in the draft. If you don’t, I believe he’s the best fit for the 49ers. He’s going to have a play where he jumps a route and makes a spectacular play. He might have two after that where he misses a tackle or lets a guy get behind him. Consistency is key for Thompson.R.J. White - CBSNo. 36 - Deebo Samuel, WR, South CarolinaSamuel is another guy that is a monster after the catch. He seems like a guy Kyle Shanahan would covet as Samuel can be moved all around the formation, including lining up in the backfield.No. 67 - Deionte Thompson, S, AlabamaI sense a theme here. Agree on the value. This is a good spot for Thompson. Pat’s Update: It’s a fourth-round pick. The Case Keenum era lasted one year and now the Denver Broncos are going in a different direction. Reports are coming out that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has been traded to the Denver Broncos. The trade cannot be ratified until the new league year begins in March. The compensation has not be disclosed but Ian Rapoport says it’s a mid-round draft selection. The Ravens moved on from Flacco for rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson in the 2018 season. Given Jackson’s youth, rookie contract, and Baltimore’s decision to go to a more read-option/spread offense Colin Kaepernick Jersey , Flacco’s days were numbered. Many San Francisco 49ers fans remember Flacco for being Super Bowl MVP in Super Bowl 47, a Super Bowl the 49ers lost to the Ravens. Prior to 2018, Flacco had spent his entire career in Baltimore, being drafted with the 18th pick in the 2008 NFL draft. Case Keenum on the other hand went to Denver after a strong and surprising season with the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to the Vikings, Keenum found little success as a starter in his career.After starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater did not return from injury and backup Sam Bradford went down early, Keenum took the starting job and never looked back. The Vikings went to the NFC Championship in the 2017 season and would lose to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Following their exit, Keenum signed with the Broncos. After just one year, and a severe regression Richard Sherman Color Rush Jersey , Keenum’s fate is uncertain. Where this involves the 49ers is the need for a quarterback. The 49ers hold the second pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and the Broncos may have been looking for a quarterback. That still may happen because Joe Flacco, who will be 34 for the 2019 season, isn’t the future. What it does allow is some wiggle room for the Broncos to look at a developmental prospect. They may still want to get in on the Kyler Murray/Dwayne Haskins sweepstakes and join in the possible bidding war, or they may choose to wait until the later rounds or until 2020 to get their quarterback of the future.The Joe Flacco era has begun in Denver.
