Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media at 12:25 p.m. and should have an update at that point.Garvin can play both inside and outside linebacker, and offers some depth for a depleted group. Elijah Lee was next man up after Coyle’s concussion, but the rotation next to Fred Warner is not yet clear.Toran’s promotion suggests Joshua Garnett and/or Mike Person’s foot injuries might cost them this week.
